All about me
When I was young my Mom had a dark room. She took photos of us as a hobby and I was fascinated with the images that came to life from that camera. I still have the images today and it brings me back to that magical time in my life when I was so young and carefree. That joy is what I love creating for other kids and families.
I consider myself truly blessed that I found my passion for photography at such a young age. Focusing on photography led me to a degree from the prestigious Tisch School of The Arts at New York University. From there I studied in Europe and in Australia and eventually returned to the States where I split my time between New York and Los Angeles.
Although my client list ranges from children’s magazines to clothing and toy designers to advertising agencies, my favorite sessions are with children and families in general. It thrills me to see framed images of photos I’ve taken on my clients’ walls, reflecting the love that is shared in the home.
Time goes by so quickly but memories can last forever. To that end, I love creating images that will not only evoke emotions now but also for many years to come. Our memories are so special, significant and unique to us, and bringing them back is what photographs can do.
I have two incredible boys who I- as I mom once did- photograph constantly! Our home is always filled with visiting family, neighbors stopping by with their kids, friends coming over with their dogs…. I love it!
